By cutting a section of a pallet and adding personal touches you can create your own coat,hat, or towel hanger. This project can be custom designed for your needs,style, and décor.

You will need:
A pallet
Wood cutting device
Sand paper
Hooks or cabinet knobs

Optional:
Stain, paint,or wax
Other embellishments

Step 1: cut one corner of the pallet to include the box like shape with one board connected at the top.

Step 2: use an extra piece of pallet wood to close the bottom of the open box using glue and nails or screws.

Step 3: sand the completed piece and paint, wax, or stain to your liking.

Step 4: add your choice of hooks or cabinet knobs on the box section.

This is an easy personalized way to organize and customize your home.

Bear Walls?

We all have that one wall that needs something. Of course you could go out and spend money or you can create something from a pallet. With the left over wood from the previous project, make your own candle sconces with wood.

You will need:
Wood
Wood cutting device
Sand paper
Glue
Nails/screws

Optional:
Stain, paint, or wax
Other embellishments
Step 1: cut the first piece of wood to a length of your liking.

Step 2: cut a second piece into a square shape to fit the width of the first board.

Step 3: cut a triangle shape to fit and support the square.

Step 4: glue and nail/screw the pieces together.

Step 5: sand and finish to your liking.

This piece(s) can be used as candle sconces or a decorative way to display other
items. This project saves you money and allows you to create something that was
made and designed for your home.

Need new shelves?

Want new shelves but don’t want to spend a lot of money? Why not make your own? Find
some old drawers in good condition and make your own shelves. This unique piece
will be suited to you and your needs.

You will need:
Old drawers
Glue
Nails/Screws

Optional:
Stain, paint, or wax
Sand paper
Other embellishments

Step 1:stack drawers in a configuration to your liking. There is no right or wrong way
to do this. Make a design that is pleasing to you.

Step 2:secure the configuration with glue and nails/screws.

Step 3: if you like sand and refinish drawers.

When dry fill your new shelf with what you like. This is a great way to inexpensively
